You probably won't want hear this (so sorry in advance) but my farther, who worked in the auto repair industry all his life (last 20+ years as an assessor) told me never to get a pano roof as they are prone too leakage, whatever the brand. My wife's father also worked in the auto industry for most of his life and said the same. It's just bad luck that it's yours. Anyone who keeps their Macan for a long time may also experience a leak over time. Seals do wear....

12 months I don't think should show wear, or deteriorate to cause a leak.

The leather swole up temporarily, but has gone back down. OPC said before inspection they would look at that and change under warranty if needs be.

I'm away for the weekend (in their car) and hopefully fingers crossed should have an answer by Tuesday / Wednesday.

I will report back to you guys when I have more news.Eclipse2016-12-15 22:54:49

Heard the same myself.
20mm gaffer tape should do the trick and just use as a light source jonmacan2016-12-15 23:00:42

Looks very similar to my leak on an A6 with pano roof (probably the same roof, and the same drain mechanism). There is a rubber pipe on each side at the front which runs down the a pillar and to a drain in the front wing. It is common for the rubber pipe to leak/sweat at the join with the roof and the water then runs down the a-pillar, and then out of the bottom of the a-pillar, down the side of the fuse box and onto the interior trim. If the a-pillar is not watertight it may leak out of there too.

On the A6 the cure is to silicon seal the rubber pipes onto the roof drains.

My Landcruiser had blocked roof drains years ago. The blockage was at the entry to the drains from the channel at the front of the sunroof frame. Bamboo cane with stiff wire taped to the end fixed it. It was debris from trees that had accumulated over time.

Let's hope they fix it quickly and properly. It mightn't be ideal but at least you have a loaner. Seems as though they are trying to sort it out...

I had a similar leak in the passenger footwell, they said it was a blocked drain, no trouble since.

Did they do anything to rectify it?
