The original set was Gtechniqued from new, the replacement set pitted after 300 miles. I am with Porsche Tonbridge and they are aware of the issues and never been difficult about it.
Thanks Nosmo. I live in Bromley so will address with Porsche South london. This is a new OPC only opened a few months ago. Prior to this used to service at Tonbridge. Both my 911 and my Panamera.

I cleaned mine with some rubbing compound Scholl Concepts S30 rubbing compound which I had used to polish the Macan. They came up really well. Also, WD40 is a good product to keep them shiny too.

Second new set fitted under warranty during my 20 000 mile service last month - same type of finish so I’m expecting them to go speckly again soon!

Paul - you and I are in step. Mine got swapped again just after the 20k service. The new tips look nice on the car and so far no pitting....

I’m treating mine to a WD40 soaked rag once a week (ish) to try and prolong the inevitable!

Good idea. I'll try it as part of the weekly routine

Took the car to the OPC this morning. They looked at the exhaust tips and took pictures which they will send to Porsche for approval to replace under warranty. They will get back to me in a few days.

Be interesting to see how long the new set last - mine are already showing signs of paint finish speckling again☹️
