I had my Turbo tips replaced last year, and now my GTS tips, after only 3,300 miles are looking shocking. They are being replaced in a couple of weeks time

Worth stirring it up a bit and asking if the coating has been changed / modified.....or whether they will want to expect you again in a few thousand miles for the same exchange
That's the coating of soot protecting the paint SB
Paul, you can tell that you're an ex diesel driver, as bad as an ex smoker !
My black tips on my diesel (20000 miles) are marked, think I'll wait until nearer the 3 year mark before complaining, that way I should have an unmarked set once it's out of warranty.
Mine are now showing the same issue at 1,200 miles (and mine were detailed with GTechniq). Not much point in getting them replaced yet until Porsche say they have addressed the coating issue.

...but worth logging your complaint with the dealership to get the numbers up with Porsche warranty / factory.
My exhaust tips are still ok but I'm holding my breath! Are there any other GTS exhausts on this forum that's still ok? My car was the second deliverry to Leicester. June 2016. Just wondered if all GTS's have the fault or if it's later builds.
