Apparently (according to the US Forum) it takes about 30 seconds per tip - just a single T20 torx screw on each. I would do them one at a time in order to line them up with the originals.

I think there are 2 x Torx on each but it is easy, I realigned mine as they weren’t quite equal.

Yes, just a couple of screws on each side- and as Guy (Edit - and Charles) suggest, one at a time to keep them equidistant

How long does it take Porsche HQ to respond to a request to agree to swap the tips normally? My car was in for service end of week before last and a request was apparently sent to Porsche. Spoke to dealer middle of last week to pay for the service and they said they hadn't heard back at that time.

Dealerships generally self-authorise warranty...no need to refer up to head office...

I had the same and the dealership got back to me in 3 days with the approval for the replacement to be done under warranty.

I have had them replaced twice. The first time it took them a couple of days to come back to me. This however was (from memory) in late 2016 or early 2017 when the car had under 8k miles. The second time they just booked it in. I don't believe there is any self respecting OPC which hasn't replaced the pitted tips yet. Which OPC are you at - and are there any other forum members at the same OPC which have had them replaced?
