Be interesting to see how long the new set last - mine are already showing signs of paint finish speckling again☹️
Not good at all Paul. Looks like it is a quality issue with the finish. See how long my ones last!

I have the black tips on my SD and at 1 year old and 7k miles, they are still in good condition. I think it is down to the squirt of silicone spray I apply after cleaning, which doesn't happen very often I might add?

Car is in today to have the exhaust tips changed.

I have been given a 718 Boxter as a courtesy car. Loving it :D

Very nice! ^^^^

One of the many great things about owning a Porsche is the brilliant loaners! :)

My Carrera T is in on Wednesday for fitting the winter wheels/tyres and I’ve arranged a courtesy car. Wonder what I’ll get this time... 8-)

Yes it was a nice surprise. I thought I'd get another Macan. The 718 Boxter was great fun and the Sport Response button put a big smile on my face :D .

Is changing the tips an easy DIY job? My car was in for service last week and they have submitted a case to Porsche to replace them. As the dealer is a 100 mile round trip that I don't fancy doing I wondered can they send me the tips and I fit myself?

I don't know how easy they are to fit. Personally I wouldn't attempt it myself.
