Headlights
Just noticed (last week) both subsidiary headlights (Xenon's), which are supposed to work on full beam, don't! Booked in for next week and will revert with cause when known but I would not have discovered if I hadn't routinely checked their operation. Drove without last night and found main beam still very adequate (but obviously not as "adequate" as it would be with two extra headlights working!). If in doubt upcheck! Strange as car received full OPC check with oil change in December (and less than 1 year old).

First time I've heard of that. Without RTFM I can't confirm this but I think there is a separate fuse for each side of the car so if both are out it might be something in the control. Have you tried seeing if they come on when you "flash" the headlamps?

Not for the first time, you guys are right. See below:

Daytime running lights
Daytime running lights are standard on all models. On cars with halogen headlights, this function is implemented by the inner headlight. On cars with Bi-Xenon main headlights, the stunning light source is four LED spotlights in each headlight. The benefit is clear. If other road users can see you better, daytime driving becomes a safer experience.

Not a dream Paul, I believe in the last discussion it was confirmed that they are only cosmetic. Mine have never come on. BMW have this 'design feature' also.
If anyone does find a way to make them com on let me know

I'm sad to find they're dummies. But i cant seem to get the 4 spots on either in my limit testing with the "auto" settings. might have to have a play!
