Hi,

Had the same problem with my first Macan (S petrol). Took it into OPC, who spoke to Porsche in Germany as they couldn't find the problem. They were told that a number of cars were faulty and I don't understand the link but something to do with the driveshaft, which was replaced under warranty. It was fine after plus I had a nice panamera turbo as courtesy for a week so not all bad!!

More likely a rotary coupling than a driveshaft!
Thankfully mine doesn't sqeak, although I did have bith front seat bases replaced because they were moving around....

Sounds like Porsche are about to be inundated with reports of squeaky steering wheels!

Did anyone get the steering wheel squeak resolved and what was done by the OPC?

I haven't reported mine yet as it's quite intermittent.

The dealer has tried twice to solve my squeak on my March 17 GTS. First they lubricated the steering column and then they lubricated the slip ring behind the steering wheel.

Still not fixed going in next week for a new steering columb and slip ring.

To resurrect the subject - was this fix successful (or anybody else?)

Mine has now also developed a bit of a whistful sigh (as opposed to a proper squeak) when low speed manoeuvring / parking

Hi Paul

Yes mine was fixed first time a week or so ago.
Grommet adjusted and lubricated. No more noises which had been there from day 1.
All done while I waited 1 hour while drinking lovely coffee and biscuits.
And looking at a £1.25m porsche Hybrid 🙄
GTS 😀
