Take care putting the seats down

After putting my seats down to put my bike in the back I noticed an indentation where the seat belt buckle had marked the seat base. Don't think I've ever done this before and hoping it will disappear in time, but anything really heavy could do more damage.

It's the one behind the front passenger seat, indentation is near the centre.

That heat gun worked a trick, I am sure the wife's hairdryer will be as good - good find - thanks

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant do you have the 18 way seats (they are slightly different in the back I think)?

Same problem after the first week and marks still there after 18 months.

I recognise that advice after the event is not very helpful. However, it's the belt for the centre seat that causes the problem. If you take care and lift it to the top of the seat back while lowering then it doesn't get trapped between seat back and squab.

Or you could be a smart arse like me and ensure that any load that requires the seat back to be lowered is carried in the wife's Tiguan ;)

Be careful witrh the heat gun as you can cook the leather. If it gets too hot it will look okay at first and then fall apart later.. It is just skin after all.
