Hi - just got a Turbo PP - has a huge great plinth on the front and need to put my 5 digit shorter plate there.

No way to affix plate directly to bumper with sticky pads - does anyone know of any solutions please?

Hi and welcome! Saw your posts on the US forum. I’m sure we’d like the same photos here!

Re number plates - double sided tape was the solution here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7075&p=147577&hili ... te#p147577

EDIT: Not sure tape would work due to the profile of the Sports Design front bumper. However, there's an old post here by SPL who has cut down the Porsche China number plate plinth to achieve the effect that you are after: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=816&start=20

Alternatively you could find someone with a 3d printer to make a new shorter plinth that uses the original holes in your bumper, if they're not too far apart.

Thanks Guy! I think I found a busy forum in the US but have now found this more local one too :).

I have just bought an used GTS plinth from EBay and will cut and shut that.

Sounds a bit excessive but the aesthetic of the number plate has to match some of the hugely pored over design of the rest of the car- and not be a slapped on ugly after thought full of pointless acreage of white borders! (just me then ;) )

Talking of number plates, we saw this version at Goodwood on Sunday.
I quite like the way it looks, thin and lightweight.
It was made by Fourdot: https://www.fourdotdesignerplates.co.uk/

Curious to the outcome of the shorter reg plate? I’m looking to do the same.

What size plate did you end up with in the end? And do you know what the distance is between the drill holes on the front of the car?
