Has anyone else found they are getting very small paint chips on the bootlid? I now have about three, it’s a very strange place to get them. They are very small and I can’t imagine they could be caused by anything other than a stone.

I had to polish the boot on my car recently, as it was covered in tar spots from a local road resurfacing, during the hot weather. I guess the negative air pressure at the rear must be substantial and maybe this has sucked small stones up?

You stated on another thread that you tow your race car. Any chance that the mudguards on your trailer allow the tyres to flick small stones/gravel forwards? (Remembering of course that the top of the tyre travels at twice the speed of the car )
