Indeed great result, and hopefully it's already been tested in this godawful weather we're having and all is bone dry inside. ;)

@r1flyguy - I literally joined this forum after reading this post.. Don't own a Macan buuuuut (before you all kick me out  ) I have a 2015 cayman GT4 with EXACTLY these problems, I have clear drain port holes and no sign of defective or perished seals and most importantly NO sunroof... So I'm writing to ask if two years on after replacing your SR - did this solve your issues??

If they did I'm happy for you as it really is a nightmare to try and solve; The interior is covered in alcantara which is acting like a sponge so I'm at a loss with what to do next and have read through all historical comments made in response to your post with no success so have just ordered some silica bags for now to help control the issue but don't fancy OPC investigation costs when the car is no longer under warranty.

Hi @charding234

Nice motor you have there, hope you get your issue sorted.

Since the repair I've had no further issues, to my knowledge! I say that as I have been stuck out in HKG for the last 4 months whilst the macan has braved the UK weather on the drive! I xan only hope it hasn't raised its ugly head again but the lady of the house hasn't reported any issues as yet
