No swirls on the Polo but rather just straight line scratches, not sure that is better. There is no way you could wash a properly dirty car without water and not cause damage. I wouldn't touch it without a snow foam and power wash first to remove as much as possible. Even then it's a very light touch with the wash mitt, a quality shampoo on a firther coat of snow foam.

Ben, I've used ONR - it is not exactly waterless as it is in a bucket of water but does minimise water and could be good as part of 2 bucket system (bucket 2), if you are that way inclined, as I found it good as a rinse aid (for those without filtered water) water as it seems to take the water off the paint - very odd :? but good I thought. Agree for its other uses

Also not being a ceramic finish man I like Sonax BSD once you get the knack of using it there is a real shine boost on a clean car, that lasts really well. I am going to try Polymer-Netshield when there is some fine weather (probably on the mini :lol: first)
