What is the price for the replacement and fitting of a genuine porsche windscreen in a Macan withe forward facing cameras

Mine was £1070 in June 2018, genuine Porsche screen, fitted at an OPC by their subcontractor, and camera etc re-aligned.

About £1450 paid in November 2019, I paid and claimed from Insurance. Net cost to me was £70 insurance excess

There have been other threads on this topic but just a few thoughts.

Porsche don't make windscreens so all you are trying to do is buy one from a supplier to Porsche.

There probably aren't enough Macans having replacement windscreens to justify an independent manufacturer setting up to make them.

Companies such as Autoglass change windscreens and recalibrate cameras all day and every day and it's possible that if you buy via an OPC they will subcontract the work out anyhow.

My windscreen cracked for no apparent reason after four and a half years. One stone thrown up by another vehicle could wreck the Autoglass replacement so I would think twice about paying for a windscreen change outside the insurance schemes.
