Bloody tw@ts everywhere
What a crap job and can’t believe he just applied the paint without first confirming the colour match If you are happy with the outcome of the second attempt I wouldn’t recommend you allowed that section to be subjected to a 2 stage polish on the fresh paint for a while.

Having real issues matching the paint.
Had the proper Porsche code 336. Suppling dealers confirmed. He had that mix also had a scanner but the scanner struggled to get a good read.
Did 4 mixes Porsche and scanned using different primers and test cards.
This is the closest colour match of that test. It’s a much better job this time in terms of finish. As neither of us not fully happy he’s going to do some research and going to see if can get direct from Porsche or if not just use local Porsche approved body shop. I am persistent so will get it right and good as new.

That's still a helluva difference, isn't it?
Really hope you get it sorted soon.

When I got my Voodoo Blue Macan I was given a paint code of Z12. I ordered a touch up kit from Dr Colourchip for stone chips as Porsche don't do their own for paint to sample colours and it matches perfectly.
