I havn’t been around here (forum) for a while, so have lost touch with the market - advice please

I need a new set of 21ins summer tyres for my Macan Turbo ( 265/40 & 295/35 )

Currently on Pirelli P Zeros, and previously liked the old Michelin Latitudes.

Any one with recommendations / prices / recommended outlets ( I’m in Wiltshire).

Also - in the past I’ve had several good experiences buying on-line from Openeo. Anyone with post-Brexit experience buying from this (? German) company - shipping/taxes etc?

Many thanks

Camskill is usually cheapest for me and carries a good level of stock

Blackcircles (Michelin owned) usually with an extra discount using car magazines' etc offers.

In Wiltshire - Bathwick / Protyres centres or across the border Micheldever. Malvern Tyres is another group and option.

Online comparison prices can be obtained for all of the above.

Just ensure that the tyre make you choose is N rated if your Porsche is still under their warranty.

It’s worth going on something like Black Circles for a quote, then contact OPC/s to see if they’ll price match or get close. Worked for me! :)

Only worth if you live within a short distance of the OPC, compared to the many expert tyre fitters on the BC dealer listing for the whole of Wiltshire. ;)

What, so they can break it, like they do mine every time it goes in.

I used Costco, 21” Michelin Latitude NO rated, £770 fitted with care I have never seen before. Not a mark on the wheels, properly torqued and filled with nitrogen to the correct pressures. You can’t go wrong with that.

I’ve found them more honest than any other - have had car damaged at both types of outlet.

OPC owned duo before I knew and sorted it

Local tyre fitter denied it for ages and it was hard work getting them to to fix the damage they caused

OPC know they have a long term relationship with me , local tyre store less so

...and the coffee at the OPC is probably better. Plus Costco or Kwik Fit don’t give you a nice Porsche car to use for the day... ;)
