On a practical side, classics are much easier to keep looking shiney than the spyders........
But to answer your original question, it won't make a jot of difference second time around......
Out of interest, what delivery times are they quoting for a new one......and what is the saving on the demo you are looking at?

If unable to haggle on price look for some freebies as these are low cost to the dealer. Mats, boot-liner, a day out at PEC??
I presume the 20" tyres are in 'as new' condition, so that could be a bonus.

April delivery was quoted for a new Diesel.
The 20" wheels are off another used car with 7k miles.

Doesn't sound a great deal. Cheaper wheels from a used car with tyres that have done 7,000 miles.

I presume the demo SD has done less than 7k?

If they won't do a deal and you can't wait for a new one, I'd investigate other demo Macans available in the network...

The demo has done 4k miles.
I think I'll put one final offer on the table and then walk.
Thanks

I've been offered a Macan diesel demo from a main dealer. Unfortunately my wife isn't a fan of the 21" five spoke alloys that are on the car. The dealer has offered to swap these for a used set of 20" RS spyder wheels.
Will I encounter issues when I come to sell the cars that the wheels do not match the original factory build spec sheet?
Thanks for any advice.
Can't see any problem at all, exactly what I did, OPC and OE wheels surely could not be an issue. Owners change wheels for all sorts of reasons. My OPC replaced horrid (imo) dark blue 21" classics with 10K miles on for 19" turbos with 4K miles on. We reached an agreement on a price reduction. I'm about to collect some 19" classics with part worn winters on, they'll be on the car this weekend, don't imagine any issues at all.

To this.......................

This is exactly what is on the car at the moment. I agree, they are horrid.

It wouldn't be Silverstone by any chance - the wheels off my car?

Paul - I was quoted around 7 months for a new SD which is why I went for the 2 month old demo offered plus when I looked at the confuser to price match the demo was a few grand cheaper tha equivalent new.
