That sounds very odd spinning wheels are supposed to be braked to move torque to the others, that is easy to detect and do. Off road helps by moving to a 50/50 bias on the drive train. Sometimes it seems to need some throttle to make the electronics respond. Did you video it ?

It might seem as if you're being ignored but I don't reckon anyone here in tne UK has braved anything more ambitious than a slightly raised kerb
I think the Macan was designed more as a 4x4 for 99% road use and certainly nowhere near as capable as a Land rover product in genuine off-road situations.

I suggest you show this, from the owners manual, to your service man!!

"Automatic brake differential (ABD)
The ABD system controls the front and rear axles separately. If one wheel of an axle starts to spin, it is braked so that the other wheel on the same axle can be driven."

Must be a fault.
