Just wondering whether those on here who have stacked up the miles, are you getting even tyre wear front and back?
With My last BMW X3 tyre wear was very even so I ended changing all four tyres at once, which I prefer despite the expense. I'm running 19's all season. If they don't wear evenly, what mileage would be a good time to swap front and rear, actually scrub that idea I just remembered they are different sizes front and rear....doh!!!!
Oh well.....what will be will be....
Tyre wear?
Same with me. All mine are even at 16k but I'll probably swap all mine at once at about 18k. Very pleased with the wear on mine and pleasantly surprised, Pirelli P Zero's on 21" so I'm looking at North of 1k for a full set.

I have the AS on 19" rims, just gone past 31k and the fronts are just a bit better than the rears, but both are wearing really well and I recon I could get to 40k before a change. To put it into perspective, my last car was a Jaguar XJ, I used to go through rears in under 20k and fronts at around 25k, and they were £300 a pop! Porsche is so cheap in comparison

Good to hear. Especially with a few extra Bhp in your case...?

I expect to get 30-40k on my tyres like I have in all my other cars. Last Q5 was 26k and was on 4-5mm tread.
I know friends having to change tyres after 15k or so. Must be the roads they drive on / driving style.
Generally though all 4 tyres have worn evenly on all my cars. SUV and non.
I am generally low mileage as I use multiple cars so it will be some time before I get near 30k...

Our last Golf was traded in with 76k on the rear tyres as we do mostly motorway miles.
