Prior to washing the Beast, I noticed a small area of damage to the offside rear wheel rim of my, otherwise perfect, Spyders. Looks like a stone chip and damage is mainly to the laquer. Whilst it is hardly noticeable it is annoying but not really worth taking to a specialist ( sure more damage will occur in the future :( )

Is there anything that I can do to prevent corrision/ minor repair other than a dab of lacquer?

Grateful for any ideas.

Dab of lacquer sounds good.

I've probably got some similar marks but no kerb marks as yet :? :? :?

Dab of laquer yes, but make sure there is no moisture in the “ wound” before you apply it otherwise all you’ll do is seal the water in for it to spread further under the paint.
