Yes, had the car from new, it started to get bad about 4 months ago, although i have been suspicous of these high iron discs from the very beginning, interestingly it appears that the back side (inside) of the discs look fine, also these are the front ones, the back ones look fine too.
I always try to get mine warm and dry before i reach home.
One year the road was flooded for weeks and going into the shed wet really messed up the brakes.
Cast doesn't look pretty but it's strong, hard and long lived.

After mine had sat in the rain for about a week without moving, my discs were looking quite bad. All sorted with a quick trip out; here's some before and after shots: (rotated to the left for some reason!)
EDIT: Struggling with the forum's picture loading process today .... was going to include fronts but can't be bothered!
Rear: (before drive!)_

Yes, this looks totally normal its just light surface rust, but my discs are not like this, there is some black staff on the disc and it appears the pad does not touch the black circular area, so it never wears out...
Looking back at your pics, the discs are badly scored in 2 or three places (as if you’ve had a stone trapped) and the pads aren’t pulling evenly (black areas on the the inner and outer edges) which would suggest a sticking outer calipernewmacanorder wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 6:32 pm Yes, this looks totally normal its just light surface rust, but my discs are not like this, there is some black staff on the disc and it appears the pad does not touch the black circular area, so it never wears out...

That’s what I thought.
Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now
I think the rings are more impregnated rust sitting proud of the surface as are the other darkened areas on the inside and outside. The brakes may feel ok for normal driving, but if pushed then would be far below normal. In my experience this kind of damage never gets any better unless removed and skimmed. I know its not Porsche standard, more Ford Escort, but if skimmed and the original pads cleaned up they would probably be fine.

All discs soon rust especially on the faces when the vehicle hasn’t been used for a while but soon rubs off after using the brakes a few times but your discs look badly scoured as if stones have been trapped between the brake pad and disc,
What will your OPC recommend NEW DISCS and PADS probably best part of £1k if all four need replacing.

They look a bit like the rears on my Golf R. They scored badly and the fronts were fine. Others reported the same occurrence.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.
