Hi all

Got myself a puncture this afternoon that warrants a replacement tyre, so i'm looking for recommendations for good tyre shops that I could call around in the morning to see who may stock the Pirelli P Zero 265/40 R21 101Y models. Need to get fitted tomorrow really.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

Dave

Try Black Circle.com. Just plug in your reg and postcode you can then pick your tyre and choose a suitable supplier near to you ( I use ATS for a number of our cars) the Pirelli P Zero you stated is £226 fitted, doubt you will get it fitted tomorrow but should be a number within 48 hours. Alternatively if you are close to your OPC try them, I use my local for the Macan, same price and decent turnaround.

Good luck

Hi Dave....I also live in Weybridge.

I would try Merityre in Sunbury, they can probably get the tyre as quickly as anyone and they are a Pirelli Performance Centre and audited on quality. Obviously tyre fitters are a variable breed, but they replaced a tyre on my 20" matt black spyder a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect....bolts undone by hand and torqued up by hand.

£218 http://www.merityre.co.uk/tyre/26540r21 ... n0/3429640

It's saying Thursday for fitting but if you call their call centre they might be able to do it sooner.

How about some tyre sealant to keep the tyre up between now and replacement?

Thanks again for the other suggestions. I called them all and one of the local black circle garages are going to do this afternoon for me.

Check that they are The Porsche approved "N-rated" ones. You will see it on the sidewall after the size description.

I assume the garage in Walton will be fitting it?

Yes I made sure they were the N rated version.
It was the CHERTSEY MOT'S 4 U garage able to get them in today. I ended up changing both the front types as not much treat left after 18,500 miles. Paid about £205 each fitted, which seemed pretty reasonable. Happy with the service there too.
