21" too big?

However, I'm wondering if there are other better alternatives to perhaps improve comfort, as in more rubber/thicker rubber on the tyres? The tyres on mine looks almost like run-flat. Please excuse my ignorance.

The only way you get more rubber is to reduce the wheel size, however there are different tread patterns. Try Black Circle tyres, put in your reg and wheel size and you will see an assortment. It will should you what is Porsche suitable.

Guess I'll be keeping mine since the sale was supposed to finance the replacement wheels(20" RS Spyders).
This was my original plan... sell the 21" Sport Classic and buy a set of 20" Matt Spyders....

But after a few weeks of ownership, I love the 21"s! Great ride and they look awesome...

That's good for me to hear :) The 21" looks awesome indeed, I have the same high gloss black. I'm hoping for the best. I have'nt even tried them yet lol! :lol:

And to another point, I've seen a lot of new facelift macan(not the macan2) with the 21" sports classics at the dealership nowadays as before it was all turbo wheels.

Yes, I'll replace both. Shame as there's probably a good 3000 miles left on them.

Annoying too. Still, called Porsche Assist and they offered AA "within an hour" or "Prestige Assistance" after about 3 hours. I guess "Prestige" means F slow! AA fella showed up within 20 mins, but didn't quite know what to do the the space saver. Thought it looked dodgy and that the tyre was single use :/

goron isn't it an amazing feat of engineering to see that tyre being inflated? It takes a while for the magic to happen but then....
On another note, it's not a tyre with which you would like to explore the grip limits :lol: . 50mph for a reason. They look like the 1998 - 2008 "grooved slicks" of an F1 car - without the grip, clearly.

I fitted aftermarket TPMS (much cheaper) to my 19" Classics, they worked perfectly. I would certainly use after market wheels, probably Mak Rennen, (19 or 20's available) from about £900 a set, but only for winter tyres (any premium brand would suffice) because I do very few miles in winter so warranty risk us minimised. For summer use, NO tyres of course on 20" spyders - ideal with or without PASM and/or Air.

Yes, a shame but safer. Although I only needed one when this happened in Central France, couldn't obtain an N rated in good time so fitted a standard tyre to get back home that I then replaced with an N. So one puncture but the expense of two tyres. Even more unfortunate was a 911 owner friend, who needed all four new tyres after both nearsides were badly damaged by hitting a pothole, what can be called a 'distressed purchase'.
