Thought that only Pirelli and Michelin were approved tyres for Porsche Macan
saw this advert from Amazon for Toyo tyres (did not even know this brand was existing) with a picture of a Macan ...

Peso, I will stick to Michelin (French brainwash oblige :D )

T1r is more common on Japanese hatchbacks. Not sure they will be N rated for Porsche

Toyo is not an approved official Porsche supplier. They may have the sizes/speed ratings/ patterns but they are not N rated. This applies to many tyre brands. Interestingly my new GTS is fitted OE with Goodyear - not seen them on a Macan before as an official supplier.

Looking @ the link posted, not seen many Macan’s running on 15” or 17” wheels!

Just out of interest, the GTS in which I had a test drive was running on Goodyear tyres so along with Continental, Michelin and Pirelli there are at least four tyre manufacturers providing N rated tyres.

The OP's link might have a picture of a Macan but nowhere does it say that the tyres on offer are for a Macan. As a previous poster has said there aren't any Macans on 15" or 17" rims.

This is the description:

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV is a 4x4 tyre developed to deliver shorter braking distances and responsive handling.

Goodyear have used their ActiveBraking Technology in the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV - which results in more of the tyre's tread coming into contact with the road surface when braking.

The tyre's tread features a unique grip booster compound - to enhance the tyre's gripping abilities.

·         Short braking distances

·         Powerful grip and traction

·         Stability at high speeds

It will be interesting to see how they compare to the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 on my current SD.......when I can eventually get hold of my GTS :?
