Hi all,

A slightly personal question, but curious as to how old everyone is, driving macans out there?

Partly curiosity, partly insurance costs.

I’m 36. And insurance companies really don’t like me. Struggled to get an annual policy at a reasonable price. Quoted 1700 with current. But shopped around and managed £1200.

Happy motoring

Ps: don’t know why this has ended up in Cleaning and detailing section.

53 here. Bought my Macan at 49 as i'd promised myself a new Porsche and Rolex by 50. Just made it by 6 months.

You'll find most owners on this forum will be 45 plus. It's generally not until that age that you have the disposable cash to own and run a Porsche.

Anyone low 30's has done well for themselves or has a lot of debt ;)

Same here, but now 54. One other condition was paying off my mortgage first :D

68 when I bought the Cayenne and 75 when I bought the GTS.

Latest insurance is well up the "bathtub" curve but being an "old git" buying a "powerful sports car" I expected some age discrimination.

There was a hit song in 1981 "The Oldest Swinger in Town" which had a line "you're only as old as the woman you feel" so I'm only 63 really
