You must have missed the second line of my post
.
.
There have been quite a few separate posts asking the same question, should I get my car detailed?

It all depends on how fussy/OCD you are about your Macan, so if your are not bothered move on to another thread, if you are fussy/OCD read on.

When I am detailing my car, I have to do it on my driveway. I always get the same old comments from the dog walkers and smart-arses. 'Washing your car again?' 'Yes, well spotted'. 'You'll wear the paint out' 'Yes, your right, now bugger off'. 'Why are you using a towel to dry it, I use a shammy leather'.' Try drying your body after a shower with a shammy leather'. I have a purified water cylinder now so it dries itself.

I have always kept my vehicles clean as I believe it is a reflection of the owner. OK, that's a generalisation as some folk don't have access to a tap and bucket but why shouldn't you want to keep a £40-50 k investment looking good? I know it's 'on trend' not to have a pristine car as it is to have a beard, glasses and a daft flat cap to look young. Instead some of these people look so stupid I laugh at them. Summer is coming and hoards of middle-aged men will be out in cut off trousers , trainers with no socks thinking displaying skinny vein ridden white legs is cool. Thank God I'm not under pressure to be cool. You either have or you don't.

I had a good chuckle at that Cheshire Cat. Especially the bit about old men in cut off trousers - how true is that?!?

I don’t wear cut-offs; proper tailored shorts for me (but still trainers, short socks and veiny legs😂)

Which emporium in Saville Row do you favour for your tailored shorts, Paul? ;)
