I watched a video on YouTube the other day ref 'Ceramic' coating. A good tip from the bloke, an American, if the product is packaged in a plastic bottle, it's not genuine ceramic coating but a glaze, The good stuff is comprised of Silica, same as Glass, and would bond to plastic as one would expect given the amount of plastic in cars. Same rules apply as apply to traditional polish/wax routine, have a very clean decontaminated car. Wouldn't recommend doing it outside especially if there's a sand laden southerly wind.

Update:
Nearly 4 months on and car comes up like new after each wash, and it doesnโt take a lot of effort either.......can still see the water running off the treated surfaces and leaving no trace of spotting.

Hi Blobby, What was the cost of the work? How long were you told the coating will last,
Thanks
