Been a few times, good day out

They have my plane there

No idea what it is but on the basis it is almost my name in line with the plates on two of my cars I assume it must be mine !
Great taste you have Tracky, it is a B24 Liberator.

This beauty is more me.

Completely agree. Sadly we'll never see its like again. I don't know if there are any airworthy Blackbirds left.

WC Kevin Ga****d I assume….

Apologies. Was intended as a joke. (My Wing Commander nickname is a standing joke at work.)

I’m sorry for any confusion or offence caused.

I tried to delete the photo, but the edit feature doesn’t seem to allow deletion of an image.
No offence caused…by photo or title! Wing Commander is a great name for a 911 owner!

Thanks for your understanding.

Wing Commander was a nickname that I acquired years before I ever dreamed that I’d actually one day own a 911! :)

Cheers,
Simon

No, the last ever flight of a SR-71 was way back in the autumn of 1999 at Edwards AFB.

Very sad but he certainly made his time here a truly exceptional one.

I was expecting a review of a Macan E!!! :D

This was far more exciting!

I did the same thing out of Goodwood in the autumn.
It's definitely going to be an annual event for me from now on - aged 63 I'm "doing what I can while I can"!

Goodwood have an excellent "real cockpit" spitfire simulator as well.
I had the simulator ride a week before the real thing and found it really enhanced the experience - flying loops and rolls!

We are so lucky to be able to do this (funds permitting)!
The two seaters haven't been around for very long I think - can't be around forever? ...
