Fantastic
Took this beauty for a test drive yesterday
Thanks… don’t know him as he was a few years ahead of me…. Lucky sod got to fly the last generation of real aircraft before the RAF decline into compromised aircraft and cut price maintenance…what a way to retire flying WW2 aircraft!
The way things stands today the RAF will cease to exist in 5 years time with the Army Air Corps flying rotary and Fleet Air Arm flying fixed wing….

Apologies. Was intended as a joke. (My Wing Commander nickname is a standing joke at work.)
I’m sorry for any confusion or offence caused.
I tried to delete the photo, but the edit feature doesn’t seem to allow deletion of an image.

Excellent. Looks like you got probably their most experienced pilots, with F4 and Harrier tours plus ETPS tours.
I'm hoping to do the same thing within the next few years, before I retire, but in something much rarer, the only airworthy 2-seater Hawker Hurricane. BE505.
15 years ago when over in California I managed to take a flight in a B-25 Mitchell and a B-17G Flying Fortress,
The first photo is a view from the side waist gun position of the B-25 while climbing out over San Francisco bay. The B-25 is incredibly noisy, and I can understand how many WW2 B-25 crew ended up with permanent hearing damage.
The second photo I took from the top turret of the B-17G while airborne. Sadly, in late 2019, this same B-17G crashed and was destroyed, with the loss of 7 persons while on a simliar experience flight....

Great video, great memento.
By the angle of the turn looks like you pulled a couple of extra G’s.
Still so envious.
Oldest Bird I have flown in was a deHaviland Rapide doing sight seeing jaunts around Duxford.

They have my plane there
No idea what it is but on the basis it is almost my name in line with the plates on two of my cars I assume it must be mine !
