No way would I buy one of the first ones produced though, need to sort out all the likely glitches and gremlins first and see how they depreciate over 1-2 years. If they depreciate like the Taycans then will definitely look at second-hand one in 26/27.
All EVs will depreciate heavily after April 25 as the tax incentives disappear and prices will drop to entice the private buyers in.

But I do like this one. It looks like a Macan and maintains the traditional Porsche slow evolution of body form.

Most appealing pictures of EV Macan i have seen yet, Moves it to be more like a tall 911. I suspect I will not like the slight increase in size especially width.

Always find that extra 'lip' on the wheel arches unsightly, don't like it on the Cayenne. Wish they could just mold it better.

Until you see the price and massive depreciation that we're seeing on the Taycans (and pretty much all EVs) ;)
There is a July 2022 , 11k miles fully loaded Taycan on configuration £125k for just less than £85k, £40k hit in first year at todays prices. 🙈

I'd be surprised if, with some options, this isn't around £100k. That pays for one hell of a lot of petrol.

That was my thought. Dealers won't get a physical Macan EV until at least 3 months after car announced if it follows recent Porsche practice.

Ah yeah probably right. On comparison the headlights look more like a Cayenne. I did think it was putting a lot of trust in a dealership to keep an as yet unannounced car under a cover for a while.

Sheffield OPC are having a "launch" of the new Cayenne on Saturday an invitation dropped into my inbox earlier this week. As I can't get on the golf course this week I'm going to drop in although there's zero chance of me deserting the Macan fold!
