…or the Taycan will wait for the other two because it has a longer range than either. 😉

I think this is an interesting video just uploaded by Harry Metcalfe. He’s always pretty sensible and balanced. He has gone diesel now for his main family car, after having EV and then PHEV before. Most of the video is an analysis of the UK EV market as it stands today. Quite a long piece but well worth it.

So is his video about being paid not to produce food.

And it happening all over the world. Hence the Dutch farmers protest the MSM tried to ignore, just like the French farmers protests.

Our own UK government are advertising that they pay UK farmers to retire early.

Once there’s not enough food, I’m sure it’ll be blamed on the Climate crisis.

French farmers are protesting about food prices being too low and a reduction in agricultural fuel subsidies. They can’t make enough money to keep their farms viable.
It’s all over msm btw

No, this one is just about the current car market. No mention of farming at all, though you do see some pics of his solar energy generators, which is a different sort of farm.

Personally, I’m not sure how wise he was to buy a Range Rover but we’ll hear about any problems in due course. I do feel like there’s a renewal of interest in diesels right now, so I think he may be on the pulse with that.

Yep. Reported in The Times. Comes up on my Apple News stream. Assume that’s mainstream?

Well worth watching. One thing that really susprised me , and he didn't specifically mention it, was the claimed and test range for the 3 cars in the Car magazine test (bottom of the page ringed in red) down from a claimed 340 miles to about 175 miles, " blwdy ell ".

+1

Ps If you watch Harry's farm video's , you will know it is not profitable for many UK farmers to produce food at the moment and we are paying them to turn away from food production
