The torque and pull off the line is swear word inducingly hilarious.
There'll be some swear words when you discover how short the tyre life is!

Tyres £££s fade to insignificance compared to depreciation £££s. ;)

That's the other problem. Whatever you might think you're saving on fuel, it's totally wiped out, and then some, by tyres, depreciation and insurance costs.

Then there's the delicate little problem of who wins the booby prize in the pass the parcel game later on in the cars life. The warranty on the battery pack is 8 years. I asked how much a new one is for the Taycan......£30k+, and the one in the Macan is going to be bigger.

Batteries don't suddenly die, they slowly lose capacity. Modern EV batteries should be good for 200k miles. How long might you keep a car?

Does seem odd that theoretically your car could be written off once the battery gets degraded :?

Shock news but engines also wear out on ICE vehicles. A new engine for a 200k mile Macan won’t be too cheap either.
