I have seen posts on wind noise and found out from Porsche that this comes from the central vents when all vent options are off. My problem is a whine from the right side of the dash at low speeds and when stationary. The Porsche technician told me that this is probably an oil breather. Nice to know it's not serious but it's driving me maaad!

thats rubbish they told you. My Macan is going in in a coupĺe of weeks for the same fix along with the bonnet hinge rubber issue.
My vibration(humm) issue is evident when the heater fan is on the second bar and directed through the dashboard vents.
Same issue I had with Macan 1jonmacan2016-12-30 22:51:43

Hi Jon
Was this issue (the whining noise) resolved and if so, what cause was provided as an explanation by the OPC?
I'm interested as I may have a similar issue but it is not evident all the time - the worst kind of issue to try to explain and demonstrate. Any update appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Mine too! And the back seats as well! Turning the stereo up definitely helps...
