Hello All

Something is really annoying me which I need help with, I have a MY2018 week 24 build Macan S Petrol with 18 ways.

In the app 'good to know' (and also the demo cars I've had albeit not the latest MY18) there was a option to retract the mirror on locking

Bizarrely under the vehicle/Locking I don't see any reference to selecting such an option?

Can anyone with a MY18 check there's or advise accordingly.

Thank you

Hold your finger on the locking button on the key for around 3-4 seconds and the mirrors will fold.

From memory, only Guy (Romania, with his '15 plate SD) could find this option as an Auto..,,everyone else has to hold down the lock button as Kas says☹️

It's not that old - it's a '65 plate!! And yes, mine has that option, and it is a UK RHD model :D

...."should be" ??

why? / by who's definition?

Just keep the lock button pushed down.....surely.......?

...a " nice to have" yes, but not essential......?

As a f'rexample, my wife's 4 series has (yet) another button you need to press on the driver's door card for the mirrors to fold....annoying; maybe, life-threatening? No!

Agree with Paul. Nice to have.
My new mini countryman to be delivered in September will have the same keep finger on button to fold mirrors. And that has £11k of extras on it 😩

That's strange - I thought the auto retract option was standard on all the older versions. Now you have got me doubting myself so I will go and check! (Will take photos!) Was just off to the dealer to book first service anyway ...
