Interim 20k service will be nearer to one year than two! :|
I'm at 18 months and 12500, Simon, so it looks like you'll get there before me.

Looks like our 20k/2 year interim services might be at roughly a similar time, Mike. :geek:

See you there! ☕️

I pretended to be in a EV today and parked up by a charging point at the supermarket.

I think it was broken.

I wanted to ask another EV owner what the problem might be, and if it was common, but of the 30-40 odd EV bays, I was the only one there :(

But given your comment, I can offer a handy bit of advice. In these car parks where they have lots of EV bays, some of them have a lamp post next to them, so don't have a charging point (hence why I said "parked up by a charging point"). So you can park your non EV car there safe in the knowledge that you won't get an idiot parking right next to you :)

Went for a tour round the Morgan factory during the week, what a contrast to the Porsche factory I visited a few months ago. Big contrasts in the Morgan factory too, the Aero models have an alloy chassis tub glued together using the latest aircraft technology and vacuum formed alloy wings, but also an ash frame to join the panels to the chassis tub. The earlier models still use a steel ladder chassis with much more ash framework holding the body panels. Unlike Porsche you can have your car any colour you like with any interior you like and the waiting list is only a year now (better than the 14 months I waited). They have an interesting electric three wheeler too, would make a good fun runabout for local journeys. Interesting to see that they train apprentices and apparently pay over the going rate to retain them after their 5 years of training. Worth booking a visit if you are in the area, only £20 for about 2 1/2 hour tour.
