GTS Wheel Sizes
Any GTS owners out there with 21" wheels fitted? I can't recall seeing any - owners seem to stick with the standard 20" black spyders. I wondered if this might be because the lower profile tyres on the 21" wheels, coupled with the slightly more sport biased suspension set up on the GTS would tend to make the ride too harsh for our roads in the UK? What do GTS owners think? Have they been given any advice about this from OPCs or SEs?

I'm running 21in Black Classics on my GTS,I'm also running Air Suspension/PASM ,the ride is really good but on our previous SD with the 21in and just PASM I found the ride a little choppy, not a lover of the Spyders and from what other members have said they aren't the easiest wheel to clean, the 21in Classics are easy to clean and look brilliant.

21" Classics on mine, with PASM and the ride is superb - definitely not too harsh - and the roads around here are dismal.
They're dead easy to keep clean, too!

I've been driving a GTS for over a year with 21" classics and just the standard PASM. I am happy with the ride quality, certainly not a magic carpet but it is a Porsche and a sports car, so more than acceptable IMHO. No much wrong with 20"s but nothing improves the look of any car like the largest wheels possible. The ride on 21"s is certainly a lot better than a BMW on low profile wheels.

Thanks John - that's good to know. And thanks for sharing the photo of your GTS - looks great (far better than the configurator generated images). Thanks also to everyone who responded - and so quickly too!

You gotta love the Macan range - even the "humble" ones look fantastic! (Mind you, I'm a sucker for Rhodium Silver with black Classics..)

If I ever venture back into a Macan, I'll be sorely tempted to opt for Rhodium with gloss black 21" Sport Classics again!

IMHO, I prefer the 20s because I like seeing a little more tyre wall on the rim, to complement the overall look of the car.
Plus the 20s give a better 'all round' performance.
Pig to clean though...
