Has anyone found an aftermarket wheel centre that is a good match to the silver sparkle finish on the 20 inch sports design wheels or am I going to have to pay the silly porsche price?

Ebay and the usual suspects have a lot of different 65mm caps but they all appear to be a silver finish rather than sparkle finish :-(

I've noticed mine starting to corrode a little, so would be interested in the answer too. I think it started after I jet washed the wheels with an industrial jet wash in France.

Haven't purchased from this supplier but they list plenty of variants:-

If the link doesn't work just put "Porsche wheel centres" in to Google.

You've just paid silly price for options on your Macan don't spoil it with cheap imitations imo.

I have no problem paying for quality but I personally think £180 for 4 wheel centres is taking the P, considering the cost to manufacture and iffy quality,

R850 the link supplied is the typical offering and shows the difficulty I face, Macan hubs are 65mm and Porsche manufacture flat and dished caps and in a variety of different colours to suit different wheels - none of the one pictured appear to match the silver sparkle on the SD

...or save £180 and put up with the slight imperfection...? 🤔

From comments on here, the wheel centre caps don't stay pristine for long...

And to be honest, we are probably the only people to notice, when we are washing our cars... :|

If it was the wheels discolouring, or the bonnet, wouldn't the manufacturer have to stand over a repair under warranty? I don't get that the caps are not a warrantable item. If Porsche know that owners will be using wheel cleaners, then they should make them stand up to a bit of abuse like the rest of the car can.

Some have had them replaced by OPC FOC.... They would need to probably inspect etc..

No doubt the new ones will suffer the same at some point but probably get a bit of detailing protection on them and dont jet wash them as water gets behind them etc may help. Mine so far standing up ok after 10 months....
