Decided to buy a set of winter wheels/tyres, but didn't like the offerings from Porsche or their price, so after wading through hundreds of web pages opted for a set of MAK Rennen matt black 19 inch staggered wheels.

The MAK Rennen comes in 3 styles, Matt Black, Silver and black with silver spokes, they all have EU type approval for mounting on a Macan, using the original Porsche bolts and same tightening torque, and the Porsche centre caps fit. Purchased wheels/tyres from tyre leader.co.uk, prices fluctuate according to Euro exchange rate. Also you can access the type approval documents from tyre leader web page, (FLAKT the Italian certification service).

MAK Rennen Matt Black: Front : 8x19 ET21 5x112 66.6, Rear : 9x19 ET21 5x112 66.6 - total cost £884
Pirelli Scorpion Winter: Front : 235/55 R19 101V N0, Rear : 255/50 R19 103V N0 - total cost £672
TPMS valve set - 4 iM TPMS Tyre Pressure Sensors (TPMS) schwarz for Porsche 991 Cayenne Macan Pan - eBay tuner shop Germany £160
Set black Porsche Wheel centre caps eBay £18

So a new set 19 inch winter wheels/tyres for £1734, got local mobile tyre fitter to marry them all together for £50, did my own fitting last weekend.

The TPMS sensors come pre-programmed and all you have to do is on the first time of driving, select TPMS, wheel size,19inch winter and the system self learns, took a couple of miles in my case and all working fine with the pressures displayed.

I know it is the GTS look but wanted the Matt Black wheels.

Very smart, ideal for winter use and a nice change from some of Porsches range.

+1. But it's been over 24 hours and I can't believe that no one has pointed out the obvious error! ;)
