I know it's only an Audi but thought some of you might be interested in the recent detailing done to my car. Guys I used provided a great service and have done a great job - it's my first experience of detailing and whilst ultimately the proof is in how the car looks in a couple of years, in the short term I have very happy with the work.

If you are in the farnborough area I can thoroughly recommend!

Nice collection of photos....and a nice looking car (even if it is “ only” an Audi😂)

That’s not Tango red is it? I ask because Mrs P’s forthcoming TTS will be in Tango and it doesn’t look as “ metallicy” to me?

I really like it. My key requirements were: petrol, reasonably quick, refined, discrete, comfortable, decent drive (but I am no Lewis so the ultimate handling isn't necessary), decent boot space for dog / pen, and decent cabin space for carrying grandson etc.

It does all of that perfectly, reasonably quick when you want to be, reasonably economical when driving sensibly on motorways etc (31 to 34 on runs so far)

So no regrets to date!

Sorry to be an mpg bore but that sounds a bit better than the McCann petrol S. I really wanted one with a Sports Exhaust but 23 mpg on a sedate test drive scratched that itch.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

Don't get too carried away - of my 2000 miles to date 70% ish have been on long runs - on the school run the trip computer said 13!! The overall average to date is 28.

It's worth it though.

On a par with my old X5 on long runs, probably a bit better, but the X5 holds up not to bad around town to return 28 overall.

Looks great 👍

Having a owned a number of Audi's including SQ5 I can say they are great cars. Build quality is very good and interior excellent (even though I am not a fan of the iPad stuck in dash look).
Enjoy it and the Petrol SQ5 is a very nice drive indeed. 😀

SQ5 great colour !!
Just a quick question as it was Crystal Serum Light'd I am assuming the team that you used were not official Gtechniiq accredited detailers, as this product is readily available to anybody.

However It looks really good and it will save you hours when you come to do it yourself.

We managed to get between 19 and 30 mpg with our Petrol S depending on runs, for the best MPG it seemed to love motorway cruising speeds.

So you wouldn't have liked the 12.2 mpg i managed with a 911 C2 at the Silverstone PEC on Tuesday !
