Scotmac if you look at the Jaguar Fpace Forum UK you will really see observations on Crap cars as I found out to my cost
having owned an Fpace for 6 months with god knows how many visits to the dealer to sort out all manner of faults.Even
a bog standard Macan of any type is vastly superior to what Jaguar are selling and I should have known better after
over 40 years experience in the Motor Industry

I have heard that - must have a look.

It is a bit of a shame - I would quite like to support the "British car industry".

I used to feel that I should purchase BRITISH MADE VEHICLES that all changed when I purchased a Jaguar ( reminded me of the heady days of British Leyland) and lets face it apart from small specialised motor vehicle manufacturing companies all the others are owned by Japanese/Korean/Honda
and other foreign concerns .Talk about missing the boat we certainly did in the UK

I have bought a lot of "British made cars" and was very close to buying a Range Rover but heard so many horror stories that I went for the Porsche instead (hopefully I have made the correct choice). You would think when you buy a 4x4 vehicle that can climb mountains and wade through rivers it would last for ever if it was only driven on the road (as I do) but I don't think this is the case unfortunately.

Many years ago I had an MG metro which was actually a good wee car, never let us down, but the bodywork was just crap. I kept it too long and replaced wings and floor etc.. The current Vauxhall Astras are also quite good cars but I am not convinced about Jaguar Land Rover which is a shame.
