Oh, and the "Version Navigation Database" has now gone from "V03959802GB 0153 ECE 2016/2017" to "V03959802GB 0161 ECE 2016/2017"

(updated original post too)
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.

I get OPC to upload ALL maps once per year free of charge...
I was frustrated by the limit of 3 updates per year particularly as I drive between CH, ITALY, FRANCE, GERMANY AND SOMETIMES THE UK.
I want all maps updated. The OPC told me that it was a limit to protect data transfers from the servers .
I wrote to Porshe direct and they confirmed the OPC would download all maps free of charge once per year as this is included in the connect package.
So I went to book the car in and when the OPC told me it would cost me I showed him the email...he booked it in free of charge and I will do this yearly.
Is this of interest?

I had it confirmed when I bought my car in September '16 that there are 'three free annual map updates' included during the warranty period. This refers to offline map updates performed by the dealership.

When my car was at the OPC two weeks ago I was told there were 'two campaigns' on the system for my car. One was a booklet which appears to give little new information and the other was a PCM software update. When I questioned the service advisor about map updates he told me, after checking, that there are no map updates available for my car.

On the PCM the Version Software was 'MH12_ER_POG11_P3275 0725'. It is now 'MH12_ER_POG11_P3299 0807'. The service advisor could not tell me what changes this update makes or indeed what changes, if any, I might notice.

The Version Navigation Database has not changed and remains 'V03959802GB 0153 ECE 2016/2017'.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone gets an annual offline map update installed by their OPC.

Is yours an update applied by the dealer or is this the version that came with the car? Or is it the online update?

OK, thanks for that Sidscott, and for the pic of your PCM screen.
