I think the one in the photos may have the standard black calipers.

Mine may not... ;)

The black contrast roof also goes really well against the yellow. Piano roof anyone 😀

It’s only money and a few kilos

For me, the pano roof goes against the ethos of the 'lightweight' Carrera T.

Although I did add back in the rear seats and PCM.

Whereas PCCBs are fully in line with the ethos of the T! ;)

And haven't you deleted the lightweight glass.

Making it a Carrera S ? With out the power??

Or put another way, like a Carrera with some nice extra kit and a cool paint job and decals?!

Exactly Hawkeye! :)

It's not a Carrera S, but a special edition of the non-S Carrera with some unique features that can't be had on the standard Carrera (e.g. limited-slip differential, Carrera T interior package, Sport PASM lowered by 20mm, shorter gear stick, Carrera S final drive ratio etc).

In reality, I expect that nearly all Carrera Ts will have the PCM & seats 'put back in'. They're essential for me as a sole car and daily driver. Only if used as a weekend toy would buyers keep the stripped out spec, I think.

To be honest, the 'lightweight' thing is a bit tongue in cheek, as for like for like spec, the Carrera T is only 5kg lighter than the standard Carrera. ;)

Exactly! Or a bag of groceries.

I know that some reviewers were disappointed that Porsche didn't go a lot further with the weight saving, but for me, I honestly think that the Carrera T is pretty much the perfect 911.

Nice though it might be to have more power & torque (e.g. Carrera S, GTS etc) for driving on UK roads safely, the power of the 370hp Porsche 6-cylinder engine is ample for little old me! ;)

And much as I love the GT3, I realise that it would be a more compromised road car and not really suitable as a high-ish mileage daily driver/sole car. :ugeek:
