Ha ha! I like bright (e.g. Carmine Red Panamera and Racing Yellow Carrera T) but I'm just not sure about the Mint Green on that Cayman S... :|

That's a fantastic offer on your Macan! :D

But £69k seems a lot for a Cayman 718 S...

A brand new Cayman GTS is £59,866.

Semerka wrote: Fri Feb 09, 2018 4:33 pm Depends how smaller you want to go. ;-)

Cayman is smaller and lighter compared to Carrera, with strictly two seats, but two boots. The rear tailgate can rattle a bit. The engine is right behind you. It is a very hands on, connected driving experience, especially the manual version.

Carrera is a bigger and heavier car...

Not as big a difference as I would have thought...

* Carrera only 7mm wider than the Cayman GTS.
* Carrera only 8mm taller than the Cayman
* Carrera only about 4" longer than the Cayman

Power, top speed and 0-62 - virtually nothing in it.

Carrera is less polluting according to the official CO2 figures.

Carrera is 55kg heavier than the 718 Cayman GTS.

Cayman GTS is £59,866.

Carrera C2 would be over £80k after a few modest options... :ugeek:

I wonder if the high offer on your Macan is only because they are trying to push an eye wateringly expensive Cayman on you

£70k for a Cayman seems excessive. In my view anyway

+1. Ask if you can have the same trade in deal against a new Cayman GTS or Carrera C2. ;)

Not sure I could live with the colour. Not tempted by a nice spec 981 GTS?

Colour is very personal, especially PTS. Unless you love that Mint Green with all your heart, it's not worth £4k. That Cayman S is over-priced, even taking into account the great trade in on your Macan. I wonder how long they've had the Mint Green machine...? :?

I did with my Cayman and can do with the 911. Change your golf cart to a Motocaddy M3 which folds down to fit in the front boot, change of clothes in a bag behind the front seats and the club bag lying on the passenger seat. No room for the caddy though

Not sure about the colour - you might be able to negotiate a lower price based on that!
