Oh the Irony!
Having booked my car for 20K service on Monday 19th. Now get an email from Cambridge OPC of a free Spring Check and fluids top up of Saturday 17th...and put 1litre of oil in last week and purchased coolant today.

Well there's a catch (depending on your self control) "Whilst this is taking place, you will have the opportunity to drive 'back to back' two of the current Porsche models from our demonstrator fleet*. One would be a sports car, the other one of our SUV or Panamera models. Whilst you are out on your drive we will also wash and vacuum your Porsche (including cleaning the windows)."

I hope my OPC are doing a similar offer. A nice way to spend a Saturday morning!Col M wrote: ↑Wed Mar 07, 2018 9:27 pmWell there's a catch (depending on your self control) "Whilst this is taking place, you will have the opportunity to drive 'back to back' two of the current Porsche models from our demonstrator fleet*. I have had to book mine in for an oil service after only 16 months and 11k miles at an eye watering £430
The car has flashed up that it needs this oil service and the dealer confirmed. Anyone else had this in advance of the 20k or 2 year service. Seems a bit daft as it will be 2 years old in October and will require a full service then as well

I’ve just had the same oil change on my 2017 Macan, also, 11k mileage, but total cost £310!
Upside they found leak in Ad Blue, so fixed and topped up, and also leak near gearbox, which they put a trace on and it’s due back in now to locate the leak. Never a cheap visit there though

Fwiw, I voluntarily had the oil changed after 10k miles, just before a long road trip. I believe, rightly or wrongly that it’s the only thing protecting your engine (and a considerate right foot when cold. I paid over £300 for the service. Had a lovely cuppa, a chat with the sales manager and a good look around. I’ll be doing another trip later this year just after the 2 year anniversary. Timing is everything....
