Having seen one person successfully sell their car via the forum, thought I would see if there is any interest in my SD. Almost at the point where I’m sure I’m going to switch into something, but still deciding what, so thought I’d start to put out feelers.

Anyway, car details are as follows:

Registered Oct 4th 2016
Current mileage - 7,300
£16,500 in extras (gulp!) including:

Jet Black Metallic
18 Way Adaptive Sports Seats in Black
Heated seats and steering wheel
20” Sport Design Wheels
Bi-Xenon Lights incl. PDLS
Sports exhaust (chrome tail pipes)
Panoramic Roof
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
Power Steering Plus
Sports Chrono
Privacy Glass
Navigation Module
Connect Plus
Porsche crests on front and rear head rests
Loadspace management
Rear side airbags
Smokers pack
Chrome roof rails plus roof bars
Full colour centre wheel caps
Light Comfort Package
Park Assist front and rear with reversing camera

And probably a few other things I’ve forgotten!

Car has balance of manufacturers warranty to Oct ‘19, has been professionally detailed and ceramic coated and is in excellent condition. All wheels as new and had two new tyres recently due to punctures. All tyres have good tread depth.

There’s no damage to the car at all including parking dings or stone chips. It’s been very carefully looked after and parked by an over fastidious owner!

Hard to know what the right price is, but given spec, condition, mileage, cars on Autotrader and what I’ve been bid on the car by an independent, I’m going to try £50k as a starting point which I think is about fair, but naturally open to offers.

If anyone is interested or wants to know more, drop me a line.

Thanks.

Ps. I’ll even throw in my spare rear windscreen wiper! [emoji16]

I think the spare rear wiper should clinch the sale for you!

I thought as much! I’ll keep my new and in the box boot lip protector up my sleeve for late stage negotiations! [emoji16]

What are you buying next?

Not sure diesel was your thing with mileage of only 7000 in almost 18 months.

Macan SD was more a function of leadtime when I bought it. Ordered March and it came October - I was told 12-15 months for a petrol at the time. However, while I was waiting petrol GTS allocations were massively increased and some ordered after me and for their GTSs at the same time or not long after.

Not exactly sure what I’ll buy next. Currently exploring either the latest RS4 or a Giulia Quadrifoglio.

You would be in the right area as I park my car in a side road away from where I actually live. Interestingly, that seems to be one thing that counts in your favour from an insurance perspective as it’s not obvious which car belongs to which house.

I do the same, I live in a Victorian area with parking permits and nearly always park in a different street. I thought the same as thieves wouldn't know which house the keys were in but when I experimented on the comparison websites for insurance quotes it went through the roof when parked in a different street. I agree, I think it should be cheaper but insurance logic seems to disagree with me.
