I also put out some feelers to a few places recommended over the months by users of this forum. I’ve been surprised at the number of responses I’ve had and the competitiveness of the bidding. Clearly the offers are way less than selling privately, but reassured by the level of interest. The spec of the car has helped a lot.

I may have to decide about selling it in the next 24hrs, so if there are genuinely any people interested in buying a low mileage, high spec SD for a mid point between trade and a private buyer price, get in touch.

Not all at the prices you’d want to sell at, but interest nonetheless!

I will reply with a fuller update later when back at home, but as a brief update, the Macan is virtually gone and I have almost done the deal on the replacement.

A quick taster ...... it is a powerful petrol engined car that blends performance and practicality so should hopefully be what I’ve been looking for! [emoji16]

Yes, Hawkeye is too sensible to buy an Alfa!😉

+1. :geek: Plus, I have always found Audi's sporting estate cars (avants) to be a really tempting combination of sportiness, practicality, prestige and quality. :ugeek:
