Ditto, 16K miles and early to mid twenties is the norm.

Fuel economy was not top of my list when I bought the Porsche

I'm starting to think that the consumption figures reported by PCM must be subject to considerable inaccuracy and variability between vehicles. As noted before, in day to day driving with super unleaded I find just shy of 30 is normal, with around 34 on long motorway journeys. Today we've been travelling around Dorset and Somerset, mainly on fairly hilly and twisty B and unclassified roads, for about 75 miles in total - PCM read 31.8 when we arrived home. I've never seen low 20s no matter how I drive. But as others have said, there are perhaps more important considerations than fuel consumption, and certainly plenty of compensations.

I tend to take the PCM with a pinch of salt too...it is accurate but only on the long term basis, which disappears after 9999 miles. The “1” figure is too short term to be accurate. I have religiously entered figures into “ fuelly” (even excluding the “full tank” from the dealership)

I know, £4K on super unleaded.......but who’s counting?😉😉

Never seen 30mpg on my GTS Macan no mater how slowly I drove. 21/ 22 on PCM more like it with 25 the absolute best.

Certainly on my SD the PCM MPG is about 8-10% optimistic vs real-life Fuelly (which as for Paul I've kept up religiously for 18K miles now with just one missed fill-up when I threw away the receipt prematurely, which would have been accounted for as an average fill-up anyway).

Averaged just under 21 mpg in the Macan GTS over 12000 miles. Never saw better than 27 and that was on a slow motorway trip. Also logged on fuelly

+1. Then again, I never tried to drive in such a way as to save fuel.

We drove our new S back from Leipzig last week. 400 miles a day in the standard 8 way seats with full leather for 4 consecutive days and they are very comfortable for a 6ft overweight chap and his 5ft 6in not overweight wife!

Overweight chap managed 24 mpg, wife managed 29 mpg on the final run from Maidstone to Manchester.

Fantastic motorway cruiser and also fantastic on the windy roads of the Black Forrest. Width wasn’t an issue in the car parks on the continent, but may be here where the spaces are still designed for Austin 7s!
