Help please :-)

I did not have a problem connecting my samsung phone via bluetooth and Wi Fi and I got the connection symbol in the PCM, and i even managed to get POI's from my phone to the PCM App Poi's and i could select them but the PCM would not let me save them :-( and I didn't know if it should.

So i noticed there was a Connect Update, i've did that yesterday and my samsung phone tells me i'm connected by bluetooth and by WiFi and i can use the embedded sim to connect to the interwebby however i can't get my phone poi's in the Nav app POI's now and the connection symbol is not showing '

Help

I've given up with the phone POi's because i've got it working using My Porsche and an iPad.

Just configure the apps in my Porsche on the ipad and add your POI's then in the car set the pcm apps to connect when you connect your phone by bluetooth.
Success, there is always a workround :-)

You can also “Send to Car” the individual POI’s from Google maps. Needs setting up in My Porsche portal first. Very handy too.

But as you say there are several ways. 😃

I still struggle to get my head around this. It’s the most frustrating system

Good point Semerka,

When i use the iPad for POI's and twitter you have to configure the My Porsche Portal .
There are four configurable apps in My Porsche Portal.

I discovered this too when searching around in frustration. But it seems that you can only transfer a POI from Google Maps if it has an 'address' linked to it. I haven't yet found a way to transfer a waypoint to the car that is just a point on the map like you can with a Garmin from Basecamp. Annoyingly, the 'Stopovers' that you can transfer to the car are only major points or addresses that are in the Connect nav database, so if you try to use that method to create a route it's always trying to take you into the centre of towns and villages when actually you want to be bypassing them.
