I must admit (and I thought I'd never say this) that the new 718 Cayman GTS is such a hoot to drive, better than the 981 GTS we had for 2.5 years.
Porsche have done a marvellous job on this little car. 👍🏼

Great to hear! The GTS will be that bit more nippy than the S that I drove today. And although the car had Sport Chrono, it was lacking PSE, which for me, would add more character to the driving experience. :geek: :)

Heresy alert! The Cayman is arguably a better car than the 911 😳

One could certainly argue that the Cayman might be better value, but much as I enjoyed the red 718 S, I was glad to get back behind the wheel of my Carrera T! :)

The Cayenne is now the only Porsche that I haven't driven, yet...
Sounds like it's time for a GT4 Simon....

The original widow maker. Love it.

If I’m ever down your neck of the woods Simon you can tick driving a Cayenne Turbo off your list.

My wife has one currently (718S Boxster) whilst her Macan is in for a headlight fault and although it has PSE and is very quick I can't stand the sound or the way the power is delivered with the turbo flat four (all or nothing). I also had a drive at PEC in 2017 and it just doesn't do it for me. I much prefer my Cayman 981S.
