Anyone have to replace the brake discs or pads yet on a Diesel S?

Heard a rumour of astronomic costs but may have been incorrect....

Depending on your location, might be worth shopping around OPCs if more than one are within driving distance.

Can't recall where you're located...

NI for me - shopping around is a bit difficult unless I use a boat.... lol.... But if it works out cheaper, even minimal I would do it in a heartbeat to put the point across...

I don't need them - I just heard a rumour someone was charged a huge amount for them and wondering if it is true and if anyone has had to change theirs yet to either confirm or refute the high cost of brake replacement...

I can understand if it was Ceramics but as it was a Diesel in question it is understood to be standard brakes so hence the question / concern....

A Macan SD with PCCBs would be a rare beast indeed! :P

If you have any Porsche specialists in your area ask them for a price. Surely it won’t affect any warranty if they use the proper parts.

Hi had mine done by a local garage, Porsche parts ( to maintain warranty) beginning of the month 25K miles done.

Front
pads £164.15
Wear sensors £26.61 each
Rears £122.66
Wear sensors £8.69 each

Didn't need discs.

OPC had said labour was about £250 a corner.
