Does Porsche/VAG have its own distribution ships/channels?
Or should we get mentally prepared for delays?

No, commercial vehicle carriers ship UK cars from Emden to two ports, one for dealers in the North, one for the South.

It will also depend on whether we have all the extra administration in place and people to process it. If import duties become payable the U.K. will need to ensure this is collected. This could all take extra time, regardless of ferry availability. If we knew what sort of Brexit we will get we could be prepared, but we don’t, so we may not be prepared.

Porsche use space on the VW ships. I think they have a priority on space allocation. Last May, my wife's VW Tiguan stood on the dock side at Emden for three weeks. At the same time forum members were reporting speedy Porsche deliveries.
I'm quite ready for a spate of "Quite Right Too" posts.

I give you my favourite Scottish historian from Stanford University: Niall Ferguson on Twitter:
I am not entirely sure what my point is, except, I feel Macan slipping away from my clutches... hopefully I get it before the proverbial SHTF [emoji36][emoji38]
